Our work in the domain of tools, programming languages, run-time systems and component models is largely driven by the goal to provide better support for unanticipated software evolution at different stages of the software lifecycle.
Current research topics:
  • Aspect-oriented language design
  • Aspect language analysis
  • Program and model transformations infrastructures
  • Transformation dependency analysis and composition
  • Refactoring of OO and AO programs
  • Design pattern libraries
Current courses:
  • "Aspect-oriented Software Development" (lectures and practical training)
  • "Objektorientierte Software-Entwicklung" (lectures and practical training)
  • "Object Oriented Software Construction" (lectures and practical training)
  • "Mobile Mensch-Maschine Interaktion (MobileCHI), SS 2008" (seminar)
  • "Research Topics in AOSD" (diploma-thesis preparation course)
Upcoming courses:
  • "Software Engineering" (lectures and practical training)
  • "Agile Software Development" (practical agile course, four weeks, 8 hours / day)
